Actually I just played the 2010 Ace Race in Mesquite, Tx. and the tournament director won with two aces. We left before the prizes were handed out, so I don't know if he kept the package or not. I would hope not.
I see alot of very overstable discs recommended here. For long straight I use a beat CE Valk, but those are expensive and hard to find, so I'm gonna second the Z-Stalker
Man what courses have you been playing that you've hit 7 aces this year already. I like to consider myself a resonably skilled player and I've only hit 7 in the 8yrs or so I've been playing. If those are all on legit courses and holes, that's impressive
I need to get a pic of my buddies collection. His whole effin house is made of discs! He's been swimmin for many yrs. and has just about everything ever made. He should be on horders.
I didn't see anybody mention lighter weights in this thread. It could play a huge role in being able to hyzer flip a disc. 150 class leopard or valkyrie is a good place to start.
Being a noob is one think, but spending that kind of $ without doing any research is just stupidity. I need to look @ completed sales to see if he's actually sold anything for that much. He must be losing $ with all the seller fees.
Go to Ebay and look at the items couchcruiser (seller name) has for sale. He has a bunch of CE's on there, but is asking the most ridiculous prices I've ever seen! Just regular CE's he's asking $400, $500, $600. There is even a first run with a proto stamp listed @ $2,000! How does this guy...
I think there are many states that can compete, if not beat CA courses, Tejas being one of them. I do have to say that La Mirada is the shiznit though. Thats actually the only CA course I've played though, so I'm going on pictures, reviews, and testimony only.
Last week I lost my favorite driver. You would'nt think it was my favorite though cause I just left it after throwing two drives. It was lost on hole 9 @ Bear Creek Park in Grapevine, Tx. It is a baby blue CE (champion edition) Valkyrie. It says Shawn Rose (previous owner that traded it to me)...
