    [Discmania] Official Ask Discmania Thread

Then what do I tell a TD that references http://www.pdga.com/files/PDGA_approved_discs_041314.pdf on their smartphone? It does not have an entry for discmania GM (greater midrange or gremlin) but does have the innova gremlin (which is out of print, transitioned to discmania?) (the reference...

    [Discmania] Official Ask Discmania Thread

Is my 1st run Greater Midrange (not gremlin stamped) legal in US tournaments? There was discussion about the name change elsewhere.

[Discraft] Ridiculously Early 2013 Ace Race Disc Speculation Thread!

A domey CD imo. I put it up to my CD and it's pretty close to same wing but domey, and thus more stable. I'd put it between cfd and my cd for stability.

    [Question] Potential tech standards changes?

Lawn darts show how easily it is for a product to become banned over loud complaints with little data to back up how much of a "danger it is". Disc golf can get buried easily.. look how hard food industry is getting slammed by myths on the internet, even leading to legislature dictating food...

Disc Weights for an 11 Year Old

Doesn't COPPA prevent people under 13 from registering for forum accounts?

    [Question] Potential tech standards changes?

It seems this "sustainability" isn't in keeping the sport alive.. generating new players.. funding events, etc, but more of two concerns: Safety of bystanders and Distance making some holes "irrelevant" Is that correct? Both of these are so easily mitigated with proper course design. But to...

Disc Weights for an 11 Year Old

I have two around that age. Both are pretty athletic.. one (11) is more of a .. linebacker build, the other (9) more of a soccer build. Backhand: Eagle 172-3, this is the into the wind and general need to go straight/left, but never really gets distance.. too "big" for them both. Leopard 171-3...

    [Discmania] new md3

So let me get this straight: MD1 currently.. stable but can still flip. I have an S and it throws like a San Marino Star roc, just doesn't feel like it in hand. MD2 currently.. less stable than md1 but glides further, and will wear into a slightly understable. I have an S and it throws like...

    Improving Release Accuracy

200+' long 8' wide tunnel shot. You stand and deliver knowing x step may get you off a bit and cause you trouble.. You do a few practice movements, elbow leading the line, your hand going out pointing at the narrow path.. You mentally see the shot, then you throw.... and you end up releasing...

Show me your trash cans please.

The college here has a neat setup.. wood post with a long bolt with some nuts creating separation between basket and post. The long cylindric baskets can swing upside down to dump contents... really easy. Can update a photo sometime. I imagine a setup like this with a modified pull behind...

Review by mubhcaeb78 in course Rollin Ridge

5.00 star(s) A Must Play in WI The meticulous care of the course and continuous improvements makes this course stand out. Think BRP about how crafted and kept up this course is. #14 is a marvel of platform targets. The wooded holes remind me of tower 2 on how you have to follow the fairways at the right...

Marking lie - can't bag disc?

A friend was playing in a tournament in a different group, and said there was a guy who claimed after you mark your lie with the mini, you cannot bag the disc that was used.. it can be moved, but not bagged. I don't see anything related to that in 802.03.. anyone got info on that?

The Case For and Against Stand-And-Deliver

Like I said before, I haven't been interested in watching for or calling foot faults unless the person is clearly trying to avoid obstacles and more than a yard away from where they should be.. I wouldn't use one, and wouldn't want play to slow down to use one.. BUT, it is clear some people...
