    Wisconsin Help

I will be going on the trip with disco Steve and was also wondering this. Any input would be greatly appreciated since we are leaving in two days.

    Agreed. Money talks.

Welcome to Summer for a day

I was surprised to see Endicott to be as crowded as it was today. It's not the hardest in the area, but its definitely a challenge. Summertime in effect. But yeah, there was a group ahead of ours that was taking forever on every hole. They were a group of five and we were a four. We would...

    flashing.....

Drive your disc into a concrete wall repeatedly, like in a basement. If its a smooth wall, you won't see any damage on the disc. I'm not really sure if it works, but its fun as hell. I tried to do it to a Spirit and its still an overstable brick.

[Latitude] Which GL Flow color seems to be the most stable?

I have a dark blue one that I don't throw. It's too understable to really open up with. Still, its the best looking disc I own.

[Innova] am i ready for a valkyrie?

Yeah I throw a 175g Star Valkyrie and I love the thing. It is definitely a consistent and dependable disc. Mine has beat in a bit, so I can control for shots going left, straight, turnover drives and I can put an anny on it pretty confidently.

[Gateway] Do you throw wizards? Describe the ones you have in your bag.

I have a few Wizards, but really only throw two; one for putting/anny and one for longer approach shots. Both weigh 174g. Since I haven't been playing too long, I'd assume they're both the most recent molds. My main is a SS with a Dynamic Discs stamp. It feels great and its starting to wear in...

    [Westside] The WestSide 'King'

Good to know. I was under the impression that Westside/Lat64 had the exact same relationship as Discmania/Innova. I wish I had an arm for the King. For now, I might have to settle with the Northman if I want to try this company out.

Good with shoes, but what about socks!?!

Redhead Snake Socks Perfect for wintertime play, especially with snow. I got a couple pairs for Christmas and they're a godsend. Haven't really played with them in warmer temperatures, but I can see myself wanting something a little more "breathable" because of heat and humidity. lol. I...

    Best plastic?

I love the grip on the star plastic, so I choose to throw mostly star discs. The durability is just a plus.

What's that superhero's name? I remember seeing that guy before when I was a kid.

Baskets made of recyled Military Ordanace, Hawthorne NV

Make 18 of them and make a course. I wish I could contribute something like that to disc golf. I agree that a second ring of chains looks like it would help, even if it does catch fine now.

    [Innova] The Orc

Just by comparing mine by eye, the top halves look very similar. On the bottom rim, it looks like my PD's sidewalls are a little taller than my Orc's. Both in Star (S) plastic.

    New disc manufacturer:

JOKERi? I don't know. I think I'd be open to try one, but there are so many good putters out there already. I would love to try one of their drivers when they get around to releasing them though. Specifically, the LEGENDa

    Clipboards? Part 1

I like that idea, but that might jack the price up quite a bit. I'd buy one, as long as the pencil holder actually works and if the clipboard doesn't feel/look too flimsy.

[Innova] Gummy CE Roc 153g Japan Open Stamp

Sorry to thread jack, but I've read that all discs used in the Japan Open have to be 150class. Why's this?

How many people play disc golf in the snow?

Insane. Tried to play Quail Ridge yesterday and with a foot of snow on the ground, a guy in our group lost a disc on his second throw. We gave up shortly after. Good luck
